Kim is the President and Chief Operating Manager of KDC Management, LLC, a commercial real estate company in Minnesota. She has worked for both profit and nonprofit organizations including serving as Chief Administrative Officer for Nonviolent Peaceforce, where she was responsible for steam-lining systems and relocating the international headquarters from Minneapolis to Brussels.

Kim spent 10 years in sales and management and worked closely with global corporations to design cross-cultural solutions and trauma support around the world. She has started three businesses and has provided micro-enterprise consulting for women wanting to increase their economic independence. Kim has a Master of Liberal Studies: Focus on the Impact of Religion on Cultural Values from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of Colorado. She has lived in France and Luxembourg and is currently studying to become a yoga instructor.
